When I paste text from word I always get an error at the top in the display. The post has this at the top:

< ="-" ="text/; =utf-8">< name="ProgId" ="Word.">< name="Generator" ="Microsoft Word 12">< name="Originator" ="Microsoft Word 12">

and the first block of text is a large link then. I am using the paste from Word button. Anyway to fix this?

On the full editor page there is a paste from word tool which attempts to remove as much proprietary crap from pasted Word documents as possible.

However, as MS Word does hide large amounts of proprietary code into the document that only courses errors etc. in browsers I would recommend that you do not paste from Word.

The best way is to copy and paste what you want into NOTEPAD first, then copy and paste that into the forum reply box

Works for me Thumbs%20Up

Unfortunately for many reasons that is not possible, however you can use the 'Pate From Word' Tool in the editor.
