Just curious... [edit, a very long time after...] in case anybody's going WTF? this thread used to be a poll about how people liked windows xp. it was then changed to the neverending thread... and the poll deleted since then... we've talked about politics, rabid monkeys, apple, microsoft, soccer, football, etc. [/edit] Edited by pmormr |

Who ever voted "It’s terrible. But I use it anyway.", most have some issues. WinXP is one of the best (if not the best) OS.
That or they havnt used it enough to relize its a good OS. |

I think it's pretty good (once you strip it of all the graphics enrichment, which slows down your computer to about 150 mhz)

Ive been using WinXP for over a year now for work and gaming, never hard any problems.
Im always installing new hardware, and removing it. No problems at all for me. People are probably getting problems because there comp is to old to run it. |

I've got Win XP Pro on my home PC's and my laptop, and i haven't had near the number of problems that i used to using Win2k. If you keep the OS's fully updated they run pretty smooth from what i've experienced.

I too think it is the best OS yet. There is no issue with exchanging hardware at all. The biggest issue of XP I have seen is the user as it works as long as you know what you are doing.
